Recycled Rubber Grassmats

What are grassmats and what do they do?

Grassmats are a rubber safety surface used all over the UK by Councils, Stable owners and General domestic users. They provide protection against falls of up to 3m and are certified through Rapra they also protect the ground from becoming churned up which can create a boggy and muddy mess.

Grassmats are commonly used in childrens play areas but they are also the perfect product to protect your lawns, garden play areas and for equestrian access as these places tend to be prone to becoming boggy due continual use from pets, horses and children. They also provide a fantastic anti slip surface great for use behind bars and cellars.   

Grassmats some interesting Facts!

•  Our mats have been tested by a company called Rapra. They received a critical fall height of up to 3m! This means you can lay our mats around Playground Equipment and not have to  worry about breaking any health and Safety Laws.

• This CFH Complies with BSEN 1177. 

• The mat size is 1500mm x 1000mm x 23mm thick! Covering an area of 1.5m2 

• The mats are made out of high quality recycled rubber!

•  Easy to install. 

Installation Guide

Installation is simple, just follow these simple steps and your area will be matted in no time!!

 1. Remove any stones etc from the area, we recommend using a rake

 2. Place down your first grassmat

 3. Secure in place with a fixing peg in each corner

 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 flush to the first mat you placed

 5. Use the Zip Ties through around every 5 holes to secure mats together

 6. Repeat steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 until whole area matted
